I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so naturally most of the bars and clubs I've been to have been vile and disgusting places where I've been unable to breathe, let alone enjoy myself. Do any of you know of any that have a no smoking policy? I live just south of Sterling Heights, so something in the area would be cool. If they play some form of rock or metal, all the better.

I can honestly say that as much as I'd like *less* smoke sometimes, I would not go to a club that banned smoking entirely.
A ban on smoking is bad for business, and what's bad for business is even worse for the already failing economy of Michigan. I pray that sound minds prevail this time. -

Fri, June 27, 2008 - 5:04 PMwell. I agree with you but I hate to tell ya, they banned it here ina cali and life went on..... bars are just as busy and none of them closed as a result of the smoking ban,,,,,, Maybe we can just all quit smoking and buy gasoline....... = P

i was born n raised in detroit which is why im in this tribe....but ive been living in austin, TX for the last several years...cigarette smoking banned in all clubs, bars, rest's etc. and they are all still just as packed as they were before. sorry to burst your bubble :p
