This is an odd request, but here goes ...
I have a friend with two mismatched size feet. Thus it becomes a very expensive as well as wasteful endeavor to purchase new shoes as two pair have to be purchased at a time - one in each size and two of the shoes immediately, unfortunately have to get pitched. Many years ago a read in a magazine of a website/forum/chatroom ... SOMETHING ... where people with two apposing different size feet in a close metropolitan area could sign up and find each other and so buy ONE pair of shoes each and trade the one that didn't fit. Didn't know anyone that fit the description at the time so I didn't bother to remember anything about it. I am SO NOT internet/computer savvy ... but did do a little searching. All I could find was a company that would manufacture A pair of shoes in two different sizes - made to order. Although a bit less expensive than having to buy TWO pair of shoes - I found them to still be rather expensive.

So-o-o-o ...

Anybody know this mismatched feet buddy location - or could give me some tips to find it?
