I will never, ever watch Channel 2 news again!!! Those cat-hating assholes listed "your neighbor's cat" as one of the things that's hard to scrape off your car in one of their very, very stupid weather trivia questions! These numbskulls need to stay in the busniess of reporting news, not advocate animal cruelty! And please don't tell me that I'm overreacting because I'm not. Cruelty against cats is a very real thing, and do not want to support that bullshit for any reason!

As you might know, the sol-called "news" these days has a primary focus on entertaining the public and not informing the public. But as Bill Moyers oftens says, the news media's purpose should be to report the news we need to keep our freedom.
Also, by any chance are you anti-cat?

Tue, November 6, 2007 - 2:27 PMIt's more than that- the news is designed not only to entertain us, but to deceive us. It's there to subvert our inquisitive nature and program us to accept untruth as truth. If you want to know what's really going on in the world, you can't trust anything on TV.
And no, I'm not particularly anti-cat. I'm against cats pissing all over the house and owners that never clean up after them, but I don't really have a problem with the little critters in and of themselves. I greatly prefer reptiles.
